Couple looking for comfort and warmth
The check in was smooth, the staff greeted us like family. The breakfast the next day was a spread worth getting up for, I mean who wouldn't love fresh honeycomb drizzled on everything?
Sure it wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you can't put a price on comfort.

Wonderful old and very peaceful hotel with TOP-CLASS personnel at the reception desk. Early check-in, magnificent and perfect location so close to things to do in central Dublin and nice restaurants, pubs and sights. Also, in the lower city centre.

The location was great and the services were good. I was happy to find Pods Pizza, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel and served nice food.

the room we were originally allocated had a very small double bed and was overlooking the Dart rail line which was very noisy. We asked staff at Reception if anything else was available and with no hesitation we were moved to a superior room in a quieter part of the hotel. We were very impressed with the service we received in this respect.

The hotel was clean and enviting. All the staff we came in contacted with from the front desk to the restaurant were extremely friendly and very helpful. Although a little bit further out than we expected there was a train to take you to the city centre outside the door. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to visitors going to dublin.
As I said above, the hotel was a little further out of the city centre than we had expected but there was a train right outside running every 5minutes. Unfortunatly we did have to pay for this journey.

The bathrooms have handy soap and shampoo dispensers, which reduce waste. We really enjoyed the dining menu, especially the cream brûlée! The location is also very convenient, right next to the tram stop.
